As a Christian woman, I find great inspiration and guidance from the stories of women in the Bible. When Martha complains to Jesus about her sister's lack of help, Jesus gently reminds her that Mary has chosen "the better part" by listening to his words. Martha's example teaches us about the importance of hospitality and service, but also the need to balance our service with time spent in God's presence.
