Making disciples is a responsibility that has been given to all believers, and these Bible verses can help us understand what is required of us. Here are 20 Scripture verses to consider when it comes to making disciples.

Matthew 28:19-20


“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” This passage stands out as one of Jesus’ last commands before His ascension into Heaven. It is clear that we are called to take active steps in helping others learn about Jesus Christ and live according to His teachings.

2 Timothy 2:2


“And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” Paul encourages Timothy (and us) not only to learn God’s Word but also share it with others so they can learn as well.
